Better Billing, Better RMM Alerts, Better Workflow

Summer’s wrapping up, and while the kids are packing backpacks, we’ve been packing in updates to make your day-to-day smoother. Think of this release as your fresh set of sharpened pencils: smarter billing, cleaner alerts, and faster ways to tackle tickets, so you’re ready for whatever the season throws at you. ✨

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new this month:

Introduced DeskDay-Level Integration with automatic alert-to-ticket conversion and direct remote control from tickets.

This integration pulls alerts from Level RMM straight into DeskDay, turning them into tickets without manual intervention. Techs can now respond faster, as every critical alert lands directly in their workflow. Beyond just ticket creation, the feature allows direct remote control sessions to be launched from the ticket itself, cutting down on time spent switching between platforms and streamlining the resolution process.

Added option to enable or disable alert integrations for RMM tools under configurations.

Not every alert needs to become noise. Admins can now fine-tune which RMM alerts should be active. This control ensures that only the alerts that matter funnel into the system, aligning the alert flow with the MSP’s unique thresholds and workflows.

Revamped billing module with UI enhancements and new functionalities.

The billing experience got a serious facelift. The interface is cleaner and more intuitive, making it easier to navigate contracts, invoices, and payments. Under the hood, the billing module now supports Prepaid Hours and Block Hours contracts, combines multiple contracts into a single invoice, and groups billables by customer in the Ready to Bill section. You can also mark payments directly, track updates with invoice timelines, manually sync invoices after saving, and rely on automatic overdue status for better visibility and control.

Additional Updates & Enhancements

  1. Added a system-generated user for each account to automatically map unknown user emails and unmapped tickets from integrations, instead of assigning them to the account owner.
  2. Renamed Actual Contracts to Hourly Contracts.
  3. User creation now remembers whether the invitation email should be sent.
  4. Added IT-Connect Web to the design of the “Download IT-Connect” section on the Account Activation page.
  5. Simplified adding notes and URLs from the knowledge base inside tickets.
  6. Added Announcement Acknowledgement feature in IT-Connect Web.
  7. Added “Read More” option for announcements in both IT-Connect Web notifications and cards.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed filter view to persist across page refresh and re-login.
  2. Fixed sort order resetting after page refresh or re-login.
  3. Fixed “Undefined” issue for domain user email tickets in production.
  4. Fixed missing Schedule Time in email notifications.
  5. Fixed issue where Scheduled Time appeared as a chip when updated or empty.
  6. Fixed issue where notifications were not sent when Customer or User was changed in a ticket/project/task.
  7. Fixed ticket creation mail still showing old user details after the user was changed.
  8. Resolved data fetch issue in Ticket Overview Dashboard when ‘ALL’ option is selected.
  9. Resolved data fetch issue in Customer Overview Dashboard under “Customers”.
  10. Fixed “Undefined” issue when creating tickets for account owners.
  11. Fixed label formatting issue in IT-Connect Web ticket chips.
  12. Removed horizontal scroll in announcements with long titles in IT-Connect Web.
